海外研修の成果
本プロジェクトは、イギリス・ロンドン、キングス・クロス再開発計画地境界における歩行者空間の記述を、英国王立芸術大学、および英国王立建築協会付属建築学校（AAスクール）の教員等との共同監修・作業にておこなうことを目的としました。
東京藝術大学建築科学生の特徴の一つである観念的、考現学的な建築・都市空間の捉え方と英国王立芸術大学の公共的、介入的な建築・都市空間の捉え方を複合させることで、都市再開発計画地周縁で見込まれる様々齟齬・衝突に対する、芸術的側面からの問題解決のあり方を検証し、具体的には、以下のタスクをおこないました。
タスク1：小さな転用的傾向を持つ活動・現象・事象の外在化
タスク2：小さな転用的傾向を持つ物的要素の内在化
タスク3：濫用的傾向を持つ活動・現象・事象の境界化
タスク4：濫用的傾向を持つ物的要素の二重性の提示
タスク5：超転用的空間構成による提案
タスク１、２終了後に英国王立芸術大学にて建築科研究室ADS３で教鞭を執るAndreas Lang、及び彼の学生2名、映像作家Otilia Paduaに対して中間発表を行い、物的要素に依存することなく、活動・現象・事象を先に捉えようとする姿勢・ドローイングの実験的性質に対して高い評価を受けると共に、定量的調査へのカウンターとしての具体的な助言を受けました。
タスク３，４，５終了後には、AAスクールにて、ディプロマ・スクール研究室Unit10で教鞭を執るCarlos Villanueva Brandt、 Unit11にて教鞭を執る江頭慎、AAスクール卒業生であり実務者であるEdmund Fowles、Rorry Pennant-Rea、台岳佑、Regne Kandanや映像作家であるOtilia Paduaに対して最終発表を行いました。
中間発表と同様に、その活動・現象・事情を捉えようとする試みを示し、ドローイングの質を高く評価され、再開発地域周縁での齟齬的側面を持った都市空間の可能性について学際的な議論をおこないました。
奨学金制度への謝辞
本奨学金制度により、学際的な海外ワークショップへの参加が可能となり、今後の海外留学のみならず様々な学術的刺激を得ることが出来たことに感謝をしたいです。

Achievements
This project was performed in collaboration with Royal College of Art (RCA) and the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA School), aiming to describe pedestrian spaces in the vicinity of a regeneration site around King’s Cross. Geidai’s architectural department tends to consider architecture and urban space from conceptual and modernological perspectives, while RCA takes more public-oriented and interventional approaches. The project combined these different approaches to examine, through five tasks, what solutions art could offer to solve the problems of discrepancies and conflicts expected to occur at the boundaries of the planned regeneration site.
An interim presentation was held for a group of people including teaching staff and students from the British partner institutions and a filmmaker. Our attitude to prioritize the understanding of activity, phenomenon and event without depending on material aspect, and the experimental nature of our drawing received a high evaluation from the audience, who gave detailed advice on our methods which run counter to a quantitative approach.
On completion of all our tasks, the final presentation was held, during which multi-disciplinary discussions took place regarding possibilities of an urban redevelopment site facing potential conflicts.
