私費留学生Self-funded Students
日本政府からの奨学金等を得ていない留学生は、私費留学生の区分となります。
入試について
私費留学生の入試制度は、各学部・研究室によって異なります。
学部
大学入試センター試験は課しませんが、独立行政法人日本学生支援機構が実施する「日本留学試験」を本学の各学部学科（専攻）が定めた出題科目を受験しなくてはなりません。
本学が実施する個別試験及び提出された書類並びに「日本留学試験」の成績の各資料等を総合して判定します。なお、選抜試験の詳細は、一般入試の「学生募集要項」を参照してください。
大学院修士・博士
各研究科の特定の専攻において、外国人留学生対象の特別入試を行っている場合があります。それ以外の専攻では、一般入試を受験することになります。

International students who don’t receive a scholarship from the Japanese government are designated as “self-funded (private) international students.”
Entrance Examinations
Self-funded (private) international students must pass the university entrance examination in order to study at Tokyo Geidai. Some departments may conduct special entrance examination which is specifically designed for international students. Otherwise, regular examinations (practical, written or oral tests) will be conducted according to each department. For further information, please refer to the URLs below.

Scholarship Opportunities
Self-funded students may apply for scholarships offered by external organizations, after they have been admitted to the university.
