This was my third time participating in “International Music Academy Munich” and I had a great time. I had a chance to play “Variationen über ein eigenes Thema” by Brahms, Johannes, and “Prélude, Choral et Fugue” by César Franck for five times. The lessons brightened my view from a new angle.

This might be because I was able to understand what the professor talked in German much better than the previous times. I could comprehend what is “play the music” as well as embody it.

As the result, I was selected a member of a house concert and what is more, I got the jury prize at a completion concert. Furthermore, I attended the prize winners’ concert. I felt that my performance changed gradually through the three days performances in a row. Moreover, I was very glad that some of the German audience told me “sehr schön” (which means very beautiful in German). I was delighted by only that. When I was playing the piano at the concert, I felt the earnest attention from the audience. I was trying to deal with it. It was my first time to cry while I was playing the piano, with gratitude and respect. The professor told me, “It was very nice over all. There was the only thing that you…. Well, that would be your next task when you will be back again”. I had an amazing experience.

I also attended a course in Paris. It was also a precious experience in a sense that I learned different things from people in Germany, which I visited before coming to France, who value their artistic feeling. I was fascinated by the townscape and atmosphere of Paris and guessed that the characteristics of French music comes from there.

I spent a fabulous time and would like to say thank you to everyone. Thank you very much.
