Why did you choose Geidai as your study abroad destination?
藝大に留学したきっかけ

2012年私は中国中央音楽学院の学部3年生の時、芸大の交換留学生になりました。
1年間芸大でいい勉強をしました。今回は文部科学省の国費留学生になって、大学院オペラ科の試験も合格できた。日本が好きです。

In 2012, when I was a third year bachelor student at Central Conservatory of Music, China, I came to Geidai on an exchange program. I had a great academic experience at Geidai for a year. This time, I passed the entrance examination for the opera course and obtained Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship for my graduate study. I like Japan.

What did you do to prepare yourself for studying abroad to Japan?
留学前に準備したこと

もちろん日本語学校で日本語を勉強して、芸大の友達と相談して、先生にたくさん相談して、大学院の試験の準備をしました。

To prepare for the entrance examination, I studied the Japanese language at a language school, and sought advice from my friends and professors at Geidai a lot.

What do you like about Geidai?
藝大に来てよかったこと

1、芸大は日本で第一位の大学です。
2、私の中国の先生も芸大を卒業しました。
3、みなさん音楽に、すごく真面目で、私も真面目に勉強したいです。

2. My professor in China also graduated from Geidai.
3. I will study as diligent as other Geidai students, as they are all very serious about their learning.

What are the things that impressed you or surprised you in Japan?
日本に来て印象に残っていること・意外だったこと

日本は綺麗な国です。緑がいっぱいです。空気も良いです。意外だったことは、日本人はみんな忙しいですね。12:00ぐらいの電車も人がいっぱいですね。

Japan is beautiful and very green. The air is clean too.
What was unexpected was that everyone is busy. I found even trains around midnight are quite crowded.

What are your future goals?
将来の目標

僕は世界のオペラ舞台で演奏したいです。

I wish to be a world-class opera singer.
