海外研修の成果
東京藝術大学のホルン専攻の学生7名が、マーストリヒトにおける国際ホルンフェスティバルHorn Weekに参加しました。参加した学生達は、海外の同世代の学生達とコミュニケーションをとりながら、練習では基礎的な技術をともに磨き、最終的には一つのアンサンブルを創りあげました。
またフェスティバル開催中はホルンに関する様々なプログラムが実施され、ドイツ、オランダ、ポーランドから参加した先生方によるレッスンや、ロッテルダムフィルハーモニーの首席ホルン奏者によるリサイタル、またアムステルダムのコンセルトヘボウオーケストラによるオーケストラの歴史やホルンの現代奏法についての講座が開かれました。学生達は今回のプログラムを通して、オランダにおけるホルンの歴史的な背景や、ヨーロッパ諸国における楽器に対する考え方に触れることができました。

Achievements
Seven students of Instrument Music from Tokyo University of the Arts (TUA) traveled to Maastricht, the Netherlands, to participate in the Horn Week: International Horn Festival. They actively engaged in practicing the basic skills of horn playing and communicating with other participating students from different parts of the world that resulted in a memorable ensemble performance.
During the festival, many programs were offered including lessons by teachers from music schools in Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands, a recital by the lead hornist of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as lectures on the history of the Conservatorium Maastricht Orchestra and on contemporary performing styles of the horn. These programs gave the students the opportunities to develop themselves by learning historical backgrounds of the horn in the Netherlands and the concepts of musical instruments in Europe.
