2017年度後期 留学生オリエンテーション2017 Semester 2 International Student Orientation

2017年10月3日（火）10：30より上野キャンパス美術第１講義室において、本学に新しく入学した留学生約35名を対象に、オリエンテーションを開催しました。
オリエンテーションでは、岡本副学長（国際・ダイバーシティ推進担当）をはじめとする教職員一同から歓迎の言葉が述べられ、本学でのキャンパスライフに関する様々な手続きや窓口についての説明が行われました。石田グローバルサポートセンター特任講師からは、日本語の授業についての説明がありました。また、日本の習慣・規則に不慣れな留学生が安全に生活を過ごせるようにと、東京都青少年・治安対策本部の方々をお招きし、交通ルールや防犯等についてのレクチャーを実施しました。
その後はキャンパスツアーを行い、秋晴れの中、上野校地を歩きながら施設を見学しました。新しい場所に移った附属図書館や、学生用の様々な器具が整っている芸術情報センターでは、通訳を交えた利用方法に関するガイダンス実施し、利用方法などを学びました。
前期には留学生旅行などがありましたが、後期にも、様々な交流イベントを実施していく予定です。留学生ひとりひとりに「藝大にきて良かった」と思ってもらえるよう、教職員が一丸となって留学生をサポートしていきます。
On Tuesday, October 3, 2017, international students who started in Semester 2 participated in an orientation on the Ueno campus.
Following the welcome remarks by Professor Mitsuko Okamoto and the team of faculty and administrative members in charge of international affairs, they learned about various matters they should know for a meaningful, safe student life in Japan. Ms. Eriko Ishida talked about the Japanese language classes available to them, and a speaker from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government provided safety information such as the traffic rules and crime prevention measures.
Later, as part of a campus tour, they visited the University Library, which had recently moved to a temporary building, and the Art Media Center that leases special tools and equipment. Brief orientations were provided in English and Japanese so that they could make good use of the university facilities.
