東京藝術大学では、 2016年より大学の世界展開力強化事業（アジア諸国等との大学間交流の枠組み強化）」として、アジア地域との芸術文化交流を継続的におこなってまいりました。
上記事業の最終年度をむかえるにあたり、2021年1月を「東京藝大インタラクティブアジア月間」と題し、アジア地域との国際交流に焦点をあてたオンラインでの国際シンポジウム・国際フォーラム、芸術ジャンルごとのテーマによるディスカッションイベントを開催します。
これまでに得た知見を振り返りつつ、芸術系大学の取組が各国の社会にどのように貢献できるのかを議論し発展させるための国際オンラインイベントです。

Tokyo University of the Arts has promoted artistic and cultural exchange with the Asia region through the Inter-University Exchange Project (Re-Inventing Japan Project); Support for the Formation of Collaborative Programs with Universities in Asia since 2016. To commemorate the final year of this project, we have designated January 2021 as Tokyo Geidai Interactive Asia Month and will hold an international symposium focusing on international exchange with the Asia region, as well as international forums and discussion events for specific art genres. These international online events will build on the knowledge gained through the project and discuss and how the activities of art universities can contribute to society as a whole in each country.
