【重要】年末年始の窓口対応及び注意事項【IMPORTANT】Office Hours and Cautions During the New Year’s Holidays

＜窓口対応について＞
学生課国際交流係に御用のある方は、年内はなるべく12月22日（金）までに用事をすませていただくようにお願いします。

学生課国際交流係は、土日祝日の他に、年末年始休業中の2023年12月29日（金）から2024年1月3日（水）までの間は、完全に閉室します。
この期間中は、メール・電話での問い合わせにも対応できません。御用のある方は、閉室期間以外の平日に連絡くださるようお願いいたします。
ご不便をおかけいたしますが、ご理解とご協力をお願いいたします。

なお、出入国在留管理庁も、12月29日（金）から1月3日（水）は年末年始休暇期間となり、閉庁されます。この期間は在留資格の申請はできませんので、在留期限の更新手続などを行う必要のある人は、ご注意ください。在留期限を過ぎての申請は受け付けられないことがあり、最悪の場合、国外退去を命じられることがあります。

＜Office Hours＞
If there is anything you need assistance before New Year’s Holidays, please contact the International Affairs Office by Friday, December 22 if possible.

In addition to Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the University Office will be completely closed during the New Year’s Holidays, from Friday, December 29, 2023, to Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
During this time, we’ll be unable to respond to phone calls or emails. If there is anything you need assistance with, please contact us on weekdays before or after the closure period mentioned above. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

For the same reason, the Immigration Bureau of Japan will also be closed from Friday, December 29, to Wednesday, January 3. No applications will be accepted during the holidays. Please check the validity of your current period of stay on your Residence Card and make sure it doesn’t expire in December or January. If you apply after the period of stay has expired, your application may be rejected and, in the worst-case scenario, you might be deported to your country.
