The Global Support Center is now accepting applications for its regular course “Introduction to Japanese Art and Culture”, a free e-learning course and an intensive course “English for Artists and Researchers” for students from all faculties and graduate schools. • Introduction to Japanese Arts and Culture

This for-credit course will examine some of the specialized fields in which Tokyo Geidai educates its students and conducts research to help students understand the doctrines of each field—in English—in a systematic manner with a historical perspective. For the 2020 academic year, we will focus on the four fields of arts and crafts, woodblock prints, animation and traditional Japanese music.

• e-Learning System “Reallyenglish” (Japanese Only)

The e-Learning English learning system is provided free of charge to support self-study in English for students. Following the first call for applications in the first semester, we are now accepting applications for the second semester. Please take this opportunity to apply.

• English for Artists and Researchers

These short series will help students gain practical communication skills in keeping with each student’s goals and language abilities. Taught by native English speakers.
