Where to Seek Support on Campus

The Student Affairs Division, the Educational Affairs Section, and the Student Affairs Division International Exchange Section in the University offer various supports regarding the student life and study. Confirm where to seek support on campus to make your student life smooth and meaningful.

Documents to Submit to the University upon the Admission

All international students are required to submit the following documents to the university.
1. Photo page in Passport
2. Residence Card
3. National Health Insurance Card

If you have not been able to enter Japan yet or you cannot submit all the documents for some reasons, please contact the Student Affairs Division International Exchange Section(ryugakusei@ml.geidai.ac.jp).

Please submit the documents to the Student Affairs Division International Exchange Section through the Google Classroom (Geidai account required. Class Code: “s5slrnu”) by the middle of the month you are admitted.

*Please respond after receiving your Geidai account information at the beginning of the semester.

Regarding the campus life

You need to leave Japan temporarily

Issue of various certificates

You need a MEXT scholarship student certificate / a JASSO Gakushu-Shoreihi certificate

What to do:Apply through the Google Classroom/Online desk for International Students (Geidai account required. Class Code: “s5slrnu”)
When:As soon as you need the document (Please note that it takes one week to process your request.)

You need a certificate of enrollment

Where:An automated certificate printer at the Student Affairs Division/the Educational Affairs Section of your faculty
What to do:The document can be issued from an automated certificate printer at the Student Affairs Division by yourself (required your password of the campus plan)/Request the Educational Affairs Section of your faculty to issue
When:Anytime during office hours/Check with the office of your faculty

You need a transcript

Where:An automated certificate printer at the Student Affairs Division/the Educational Affairs Section of your faculty
What to do:The document can be issued from an automated certificate printer at the Student Affairs Division by yourself (required your password of the campus plan)/Request the Educational Affairs Section of your faculty to issue
When:Anytime during office hours/Check with the office of your faculty

You need a research activity statement

Regarding the residence card

You need to renew or change your status of residence

What to do:
Apply through the
Google Classroom/Online desk for International Students (Geidai account required. Class Code: “s5slrnu”)
When:As soon as you need the document (Please note that it takes one week to process your request.)
*Please apply in a timely manner (up to three months before the expiration of current residence card).

Your residence card has been renewed

What to do:
Submit the photocopy of your new residence card through the Google Classroom/Online desk for International Students (Geidai account required. Class Code: “s5slrnu”)

When:As soon as you have received your new residence card

You have obtained a permission to engage in an activity other than those permitted by the status of residence previously granted

Submit the photocopy of your new residence card through the
Google Classroom/Online desk for International Students (Geidai account required. Class Code: “s5slrnu”) *Please submit in the same procedure as <When you have received a new Residence Card>.
